Anthem Studies in Women and Organising series will focus on the gendered aspects of organizing, management, and work, inviting contributions that examine women’s experiences and perspectives in a variety of organizational settings, including academia, entrepreneurship, corporations, NGOs, public institutions, activist networks and other alternative modes of organizing. We are based in Central and Eastern Europe, with considerable experience of working and living in other European countries, as well as the US. This provides us with access to scholarly voices and perspectives that are frequently overlooked by mainstream publishing outlets, despite the CEE’s increasing presence in the academic publishing market. Building on our strong networks, we are committed to curating a genuinely global series. We aim to spotlight contributions from other peripheral and marginalized regions, including the Global South, thus redressing the neglect in mainstream literature. The series will embrace a wide range of perspectives with the goal of strengthening less visible perspectives in the study of gender and organization.

Our titles are published in print and e-book editions and are subject to peer review by recognized authorities in the field.
