First Hills

First Hill Books (FHB), an imprint of Anthem Press provides first-time and experienced authors with the opportunity to publish in a collaborative way with experienced publishing professionals, from the submitted manuscript through national and international distribution.

Our publishing list includes a wide range of genres, including business, nonfiction, specialist works, self-help, memoir, fiction and other general trade titles.

Please note that First Hill Books follows a hybrid publishing model, where authors support financially to offset some of the extra costs of their book's publication. In return, the authors will have creative control over their work such as layout and design and benefit from flexible publishing terms, including higher royalty rates, additional complimentary copies, competitive book pricing and extended marketing support.

Proposals

First Hill Books welcomes submissions of proposals for works that meet the criteria of this programme. Acceptance of such proposals is selective and based on a number of contributing factors. We make prompt editorial decisions. Our titles are published in print and e-book editions and may be subject to peer review by recognized authorities in the field. Should you wish to send in a proposal, please contact us at: proposal@anthempress.com.
