The Anthem Impact in Dramatic Criticism series comprises incisive and original analyses of drama from around the world and throughout history. Books in this series, which are between 20,000 and 30,000 words, variously focus on plays by a single dramatist or theatre company, interrelate the work of different playwrights, and propose new ways of conceiving and analysing drama in the twenty-first century. Authors examine plays in textual form and/or as theatrical performance (including audio drama and other formats). The series encompasses the study of canonical drama as well as the work of playwrights and theatre-makers who are less well known, but whose work can be shown to have significance and to enrich our understanding of drama as an artform. Drama written and performed in languages other than English, discussed in translation, is welcome.
