The Anthem Impact in Mediterranean History series presents innovative scholarship spanning late antiquity to the present. This also includes works exploring how historical legacies resonate in contemporary Mediterranean societies. With each work limited to 20,000 to 30,000 words, it encompasses political, social, cultural, religious, ethnolinguistic, military, diplomatic, media, environmental, maritime and economic histories, adopting interdisciplinary approaches and situating Mediterranean histories within broader postcolonial, transnational or comparative contexts. The series welcomes submissions from emerging and established scholars offering critical insights and aims to engage a global audience interested in the complexities of Mediterranean history.
