The Anthem Studies in Mediterranean History series presents innovative scholarship spanning late antiquity to the present, exploring how historical legacies resonate in contemporary Mediterranean societies. This series encompasses political, social, cultural, religious, ethnolinguistic, military, diplomatic, media, environmental, maritime and economic histories, adopting interdisciplinary approaches and situating Mediterranean histories within broader postcolonial, transnational or comparative contexts. The series welcomes submissions from emerging and established scholars offering critical insights and aims to engage a global audience interested in the complexities of Mediterranean history.
