We are currently seeking editors and chapter authors for Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology books on themes such as:
Your time is valuable. We assure you that your participation as a book editor will not become time consuming. Editor participation is confined to a limited scope. Anthem Press takes care of the rest: commissioning and liasioning with chapter authors, external peer review (as needed), formatting, copyediting, production and marketing. Volume editors participate in the following ways:
- Advise on overall scope. Our editors are the experts. Editors provide insight into the overall scope, table of contents and suitable contributor profiles. Anthem Press directly commissions chapter contributors accordingly.
- Provide high-level feedback on chapter abstracts and the draft manuscript. Anthem Press presents Editors with early chapter abstracts and full chapter drafts. Editors provide big picture feedback: comment on technical content and whether the content addresses key research effectively and thoroughly.
- Contribute a short Introduction. Editors write a short 2-3 page introduction for the book once the full manuscript is available.

Chapters are meant to contribute to the overall goal of the book: provide an overview of the latest thinking and current state of the subject. Chapters range from 5,000 - 9,000 words depending on the requirements of comprehensively addressing the scope of individual chapters.
