Anthem Young Adult and Children’s Literature publishes original, high-quality research on texts for children and young adults. In addition to research on novels, picturebooks, graphic novels, and collections of poetry and short stories published for youth, the series includes studies of other mediafilm, television, games, social media, comics aimed at children and young adults. The series is international and multidisciplinary in nature and features rigorously edited monographs and collections. Books in the series draw on nuanced theoretical frameworks to interrogate established ideas in this rapidly growing field, to broaden critical and theoretical discussion among scholars and students, and to enhance the nature and availability of existing scholarly resources. The editorial team invites innovative examinations of this literature with deployments of critical theory from established and emerging authors.
